Quick cut & buff ?
How long after fresh paint do I have to wait to cut & buff to eliminate the orange peel? I was told I could do it this weekend(just got the car back today), but yet the paintshop reccomends that I wait a full month before detailing(claybar and wax)....kind of confused me because IMO a cut and buf is harsher than a claybar and wax
You can wetsand and buff the car with a "paintable or paint-safe *compound/polish* as soon as a day or two after being painted, but there should be no waxing/sealing for ATLEAST 30 days. The wax/sealant will not allow the paint to fully harden/cure. If this happens, the paint may cloud, and will probably be so soft it'll swirl if you look at it the wrong way.
