That looks like a fun track.

What's the length of that long straight?

There are numerous devices like this. It sure beats LOJACK by far. There is currently a device that you can use your laptop to see the "dot" and its location.

Way over priced IMO, but a cook kit none the less.

Here is the kit I have installed in my car:
Accutracking

Cheaper startup, same result. Both are compact, easy to hide, web based, and require monthly fees.

One from last week:

How do police get access to the tracking info? Do you have to print it out, have them come to your house and show them where your car was last spotted? I'd rather save a paycheck and get the LoJack.

I'd imagine you'd track it yourself since it's web based. That or they have some sort of monitoring system of their own through the company and they alert the police.

I'd rather track the car myself anyways, rather than waiting for LoJack to find the signal and then the police getting around to tracing it. Plus LoJack isn't the save-all. A lot of cars have been stolen without a trace even with LoJack installed.

I'm not familar with adding this service to existing phones- I bought a kit. In the kit I use a pay as I go service with added web service.
