I have a jdm ZC in my 93 civic and it idles at 2500 rpms cold and warmed up, any suggestions??
When my bro swapped an engine in his civic he took my tps sensor off and before this my car was running fine and when he put it back on my car idles high. My check engine light isnt turned on so I dont know if it's the sensor or not. Any ideas?
Also, does anyone know the specs for adjusting valves for a zc? What I have is 5-7 inlet and 6-8 exhaust, I just adjusted them but my valves are clicking like hell...
it shoudl be on top of ur intake manifold, and there shoudl be two holes for vac lines.look for the smallest hole, and plug it with ur finger. the idle should go down. i think it goes to ur fuel pressure regulater. but plugging it with something works too

TPS Sensor might need to be adjusted as well
if u just replaced one, u can tap with hammer/screw driver to move forward/backwards to see if it changes idle
also make sure cable is not to tight holding throttleplate on
also check for vacuum leaks
good luck

Also when I turn off my car it makes a weird sound like air coming out of the intake, its hard to describe but if you have heard it you know what I mean. My uncle said it was from my car idling to high....
might have a vacuum leak,, and or non factory intakes make funny noise as well
