Default Need Advice..Six Sigma Street Sweaper header?

My latest project is B16 all motor build for a friends CRX autocrosser. The motor is finally finished and ready to drop in but im in need of some advice for the choice of header. It will be connected to a test pipe, them into a Apexi N1 catback. My buddy insists on the full race Six Sigma Racing Street Sweaper header but i dont have any experience with their performance. Would this be a good choice (or have any power advantage) over something like a Megan header? Thanks

yes, it would be a great choice at about 6 or so times the cost of a megan .

megan and ssr should not be mentioned in the same paragraph.

Yeah by NO means was I meaning to put them on the same level, just wanted to hear some other peoples results with the SSR on the B16 versus somthing like a Megan. I just threw the brand Megan in to see how much better the SSR is than something like that. Heyy actually i was looking into one of those rare JDM E-GAY headers( the ones that add 15 horse ) haha not!! thanks guys

either a toda or spoon header will suffice a B16

you can find one of those e-gay headers that is identical to hytech and itll run you about 2xx bucks.. or step it up and run the ssr/dtr street sweeper.. its just like anything else, you get what you pay for...

IMHO the DTR Street Sweaper is too big for a 1.6, or even 1.8.

Danny can modify his B-Unit for optimum power on a 1.6, if you are interested in getting a DTR/SSR unit, I would contact him directly and talk about your motor, and possibly your future plans...We've recommended 2.0L units for people who plan on upgrading from their current setups to 2.0L's in the future, just something to think about.

a jdm hype-r w/2.5" collector or if u really wanna spend the money a toda header, either would be perfect.

haha i was totally kidding about the ebay header. Thanks for the responses guys. I did a little more research and have decided to go with the toda. Ordered it today from inlinefour.com-$980. I love building motors on other peoples money haha. Thanks again
