Default need help with quick release install

ok i got everything on but i don't know what to do with the srs cable reel. do i remove it? i can't unplug it because it's connected to the tape roll. so do people hide the srs cable reel or remove it?

You have to remove it.It goes through you steering colum and unplugs at the bottom, just fallow the cable. The srs light will be on after but you can pull the bulb out if it bothers u.

is it the yellow connector right behind the metal bracket?

thanks bro! i finally finished installing it. the wire was taped up with the cruise control so i had to cut the tape

there is a dummy plug that can be installed into the connector to keep the light out. pulling the bulb is free though.

where can i get this dummy plug?

dealer should have it, its used to service the airbag system, it disables the whole system. on EG's it is screwed to the steering column cover.
