do the 92-99 civics all have same wiper motor. or did they change the motor when they changed the body style.

no they are different.

NOTE: even some of the same gen civics do not use the same motor.

 

what is different is it the wire connection or is it the way the motor mounts.

do say the ex of the 92-96 gen and the 96-99 ex have the same motor? or is it something that was kinda based on the whim of honda as to what car got what.

cause im looking for a motor for a 98 ex and the bone yard i got to tends to not have my gen. but they have a lot of the 92-96 gen.

92-95 and 96+ are for sure not the same. different connections and different mounting.

the largest difference for your 98 I see in the parts listings is the change from 96-98 and 99-00.
Your best bet would be to get one from a 96-98.

UNLESS, (based on your statements) I have a feeling that you're not in the US, then your 98 could be the same as the US 99...
