Default Odd moonroof leak?!?!

Hi, back again with another odd one (this car is keeping me busy) - my moonroof has a strange leak in the passenger rear corner. Is there a gasket/seal that would cause the leak there? I tried looking (think majestic honda site) - seems like theres a seal for the moonroof panel, but doesn't seem to be one for the inside part (only the drain tubes take care of the water It seems). I put compressed air in the tubes and they blew clean (nothing in them). lol, doesn't bother me in the driver's seat - but water gets all over the front passenger's head and rear passenger seat when it rains out (I do give a fair warning lol). any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I had a leak like that. I thought it was the gaskets so I took out the sunroof to check. it turns out I had a spot weld break on my sunroof and it caused the leak.

Not saying it is defiantly a weld. it could be a gasket or a drian tube. Just giving you some insight.

thanks, by spot weld - do you mean on the sunroof panel, or the assembly holding up the whole thing or the roof panel itself? anything might be the cause on this car, looks like it was pieced together the more I fix things on it lol. I wonder how hard it would be to retro a complete 97 glass sunroof complete assembly on (vs. just using the glass + modded brackets) - thats another case tho.

It was a weld hold the tracks to the lower frame that bolts into the car.

Its not that hard to make the 97 sunroof work. you just have to shim the panel a little. It fits fine I have heard.

I'm thinking of doing the glass roof in a few weeks. I saw the how-to throw the glass roof in, but they used the 4th gen frame. Someone mentioned retrofiting the 5th gen sunshade, etc, but don't know if they use they used the 4th gen frame or 5th gen frame. ehh, I'll pull it apart this weekend n check the frame in that corner.
