Default whats the torque spec for the jdm d15b vtec head w/ greddy headgasket and arp headstuds?

w/ the greddy thick turbo headgasket and arp headstuds. its gonna be turbo thanks let me know

65 lb/ft or 88Nm. i usually take them up to 70-75 though. 55 is the stock spec i believe.

hmm someone else told me 26 the first round of torqueing then 57 for the sec.


can anyone confirm?

stock is 22, then 55. i thought you wanted just the max number. I do increments of 20 until I reach the max.

follow the arp instructions...

moly lube and torque the arps to 10 lbs. first. then put the head on and go in incriments up to i think its 63 or 65lbs. i cant remember what mine was exactly.

but you hand tighten it first right to the block?

got it in the mail today it says torque it down to 60lbs.. should i do 65?

i ended up torque'n it down to 65
