are the clutches interchangeable in the 1988-1991 crx because i am looking to get a fidanza aluminum flywheel and it says it will only work on 1990-1991 crx.
Is this true; if is so what do i have to do to make it work on mine.
I have an exedy clutch (kit# 8009; it says it is for the 88 crx dx 1.5 only?), will this fix my problem with the flywheel working?
My crx is a 1988 dx.

 

88-89 flywheel is slightly different than the 90-91 flywheel......SOME companies only have stuff for 90-91.....good luck

 

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=650219 if you look at crxforum's post (4th one down) among that list of things it says "90-91 clutch is 212mm, the 89 is 200mm and the 88 has either a 200 or 190mm, I can't remember which."
