idle problem on 96 ek with b18b swap
hey guys i have a 96 ek with a b18b in it and it idles really high. i haveconverted it to obd1 using a rywire conversion harness and a obd1 p75. can i adjust my idle the regular way by starting the car letting it warm up disconnecting the iacv adjusting the screw plugging the iacv back in and resetting the ecu. or since i converted an obd2 car to obd1 is there a different way please help
thanks alot in advance
ps. i have not cleaned out my iacv yet but i will and i have no vacuum leaks
and ill also burp my rad.
also when i start up the car first thing in the morning the idle is way high it idles at 2500 and wont come back down till its all warmed up and i shut it off and restart it. is this normal?

whats up....what years is the b18b motor? i'm goin through the same problem....converted to obd1...only thing i got a problem is the jumpy idle when it warms up...
from what i've read on H/T...i think the p75 ecu looks for the FITV (Fast Thermo Idle Valve)...i dont have a FITV on my 01 LS manifold...so i think thats the cause of the high idle...thats what i've read...
