D series turbo question again

Default D series turbo question again

I bought a set of dsm 450cc injectors and im starting my turbo project, but i kno this guy that said he can chip my ecu and bring it back to him so he can tune it for only 50 bucks 8]. Should i trust him? he has the same setup on a hatchy and it runs like a factory tuned turbo car. should i have him chip it or buy a vafc? thanks u Guys r tha bomb

i think u should have him chip it, everyone on here told me that the vafc sucks even though i have one in my car with the same setup and it work pretty well

chip for sure. how is your vafc going to control timing? its not.. get it chipped. you wont regret it..

He said he was gonna chip it so i can drive it and then drive my car back to his house so we can tune it. He lives about 30 minutes away. do u think its going to be okay?

chip and use the vafc for a better tune thats what i did on my car and it works great
