yellow top optima battery for DA integra?
alright I have been looking around our friendly interweb, and the only specific optima battery I found for a 90-93 integra was the red top group 25 or whatever. I do not want a red top, but instead a yellow top. has anyone found a good yellow top that works well for fitment, and also uses the stock battery tie down properly? I was looking at a D750S as far as dimensions go, but that one is freaking expensive
thanks!

thanks!
Just get the stock sized battery. $41 at Costco. They sell batteries under their Kirkland house brand name, and they're made by Johnson Controls, one of the leading battery manufacturers (they also make the Optima). Comes with a three-year full warranty and a 100-month pro-rated warranty.
I shopped all over when I needed a battery and Costco has the best deal by far.

right... I believe its a good place to get a deal on a battery, but I am looking for a yellow top deep cycle battery, not a 40 lb normal battery
As far as I know they quit making yellow tops for our cars. (integras and civics)
Thats how I got a brand new one for 60.00 and a barely used one for 30.00 at an interstate battery house.
From what I understand they will reproduce something different shortly but as of late last year they don't make the yellow tops our size anymore.
Check it out the info is out there somewhere.
Thats why I still rock mine.

If you're looking for a lightweight, deep cycle battery, get the Odyssey. Get the larger PC925T if you're in a colder climate (or the car often sits for extended periods) and want more cold cranking amps, or the smaller PC680T if you're in a warmer climate and don't need the extra power. The manufacturer website is here and you'll find the best prices at Portable Power Systems. It's not cheap ($92 after rebate for the PC680T, $156 after rebate for the PC925T), but it can last 10-12 years.
You'll need some kind of hold-down bracket for it, because it's a lot smaller than the stock size battery.
(Again, for most folks, the Costco battery for $41 is more than adequate.)

how about a D35 battery? its around $160 shipped from what I can find... dimensions look okay, but has anyone used one of these in their DA?
