was driving the car today soemtimes it runs fine then when i drive it for a while it bogs real bad someitmes, then will run good, then will bog any ideas bout what might be causing it

Usually if the timing is off, it would be a consistent problem, not random. I would start with plugs, wires, cap and rotor. If any of these are in poor condition, it could cause a random misfire like you describe. Could also be a loose battery connection or ground. There are many other causes, like bad voltage regulator in the alternator or even a weak coil or bad ignitor, but lets start with the easy stuff.

 

I would also check the fuel filter if you havent changed it in a while.. This may seem a little too simple but Ive seen this more than once.
