How good are these piston rings? I ordered some Hasting Piston Rings from autozone, they shipped me Hi-Tech Piston Rings Instead, but correct part number. Are these any good, or should I reorder the Hasting Rings?

Oh yeah, the walls are chrome plated, does that make them as good as Hastings?

If they are from Autozone, they can only be the best for a Honda. I would use them. Best Honda parts available, alittle expensive though.

 

Just so you know, I was quoted $80 for Hasting Rings from a local HONDA dealer, so i just got the part number and ordered them from Autozone for $40. That's the reason I ordered them from Autozone, I know they are not a performance shop but the savings will go to fund my bore job. Instead the vendor shipped me the
HI-TECH brand. My question is, has anyone used this brand of rings or heard anything about them?

 

Anybody with experience with these piston rings?
