Default I know you guys like project with pics... Check mine

Hey guys, im new to prelude's, ive owned 2 civics. found a good deal on this with nice low miles and a clean title. nearly rust free except the panels that were crashed. My plans for it are to make it look as close to "new" with my budget.
Im not doing and mods to it and I have replaced a few interior peices like shift boot and shifter from Honda. Otherwise mechanical and interior is as near mint as it comes!!

This Is the poor thing as I got It. Bumper ripped off, door caved in quater panal damage, and hood bent from an improper locking incident. As you can see the trailing arm and spindle in the rear also bent.

Here is another one, diff. angle

This is Curtis blocking out my right side of the car to rid it of its door dings. Had about 15 or 20 around the whole car.

The new quarter was sectioned in sorta a bad spot. We did this to avoid removing the rear windsheild. This is Neema cleaning up the welds.

Here is the car all mudded up using the gold 3M premium filler. Again this is where the skills were need to make this straight and clean.

Here the rear quater was primed up using 2 part etch and sealer primer. Also the Drivers outer door skin was replaced because the previous owner filler the door with body filler (in a really bad way) and looked like crap. You can see this in that other pic.

Here is the right side of the car, pic looks poor but its minimal orange peel and the main this is no dings or signs of body work. Thank you Curtis, your the man.

This is the Left side, nice n clean. Very straight. Still missing Rim, and rocker moulding. Should be here any day.

All this work has been going on for three weeks. Ive invested $1500 all oem honda metal and parts.
I just got the new hood so it must be painted and installed as well as the rear bumper. Rocker molding and tire. (tires got a hole)
Now all I got to do is Color sand the car to smooth everything as I dont have a paint booth to use anymore.
I will post more pics when its finished.
Friday Paint the hood, bumper and spoiler. Sunday color sand & Buff!!!!
Thanks Guys!

Very nice work It's always nice to be able to do body work on your own... it saves you a LOT of $$$. If you don't mind me asking, what did you give for the car, year, and mileage?

Well, you got yourself a good deal on that, given the work you put into it. With all costs considered, it was worth the time spent.
