Need Offset help..

Default Need Offset help..

would a 16x7 with an offset of +45 fit a 2000 civic better than a 16x7 wheel with +40 offset...im having some troubles with rubbing against the fender, would this fix it a bit or just make it worse?

Wheel offset it a measure of distance between the wheel mounting surface and and the centerline of the wheel. If the off set is positive the mounting surface sits outward from the centerline, Negative and it sits inward from the center line. This unit of measurement is typically in MM. see diagram below for a visual.
