Default HELP!!! With A/C problem!!! 96 DX!!!

I have a 96' DX hatch. I just replaced the a/c compressor and filled up the freon. Bare in mind i did this all in the comfort of my own home. I thought the compressor was the problem but now, i find out it isn't. The freon refiller with gauge tell me the freon level is perfect, the compressor pulley is spinning, etc. but STILL no a/c. What could my problems be!? Thanks guys!

does your fan spin. if it does, does it ever stop spinning while the ac is engaged.

if it stops then your fan is finished. (ac fan of course)

Did you evacuate the system prior to filling with r134a?
Can you be very specific:
A/c clutch engages/ disengages
A/C condensor fan cycles on and off
Feel the lines coming of of condensor if they get cold
Is there water coming out of drain, if its running for a while . It runs faster if its humid out.

Does the inside blower work?

I have NOT vacuumed the system. Is that something done easily at home? I'm thinking that's my only problem because the a/c condensor fan is working, etc. Anyone know how to vacuum the system!?

You will need the vacuum pump for a/c systems. Just get it done at any shop. Getting a 40 degree a/c is worth any amount of money once it gets 98 degrees and humid out.
