You're definately going to eat a lot more fuel. You don't need adjustable cam gears, those'll only allow you to phase, overlap, and degree your lobes. You will need aftermarket retainers, and dual valve springs if you don't want to float a valve or snap a retainer in half. If you're intersted in a good Engine Management, get a Chipped P28 and get that **** to the dyno shop. I have a P28 with a good base tune for a B16A with Type R intake, exhaust, skunk2 stg 2 pro 2 camshafts, I'll let that go for 180 if you're intersted.

well these cams will be a stage1 only , and according to research , valvetrain will be safe to use unless the rev limit is raised ,

next question , will i have to get a map to get full potential use of the cams >>?
can standard ecu b mapped ..!? noob question ..???

thanks ..!!!

You wont get full potential off of a basemap, but rather something to drive on until it's tuned. You will have to have it tuned for your particular car for the air/fuel ratio to be most efficient
