Default Tanabe GF springs on -06 EX FA1?

I'm looking to put some sport springs on my car. I really don't want a drastic drop, just something a little stiffer and a little lower.

How does everyone feel about the Tanabe GF210's? I've also considered the Tein H-Techs as well. I've read good and bad about the Tein's, but can't find anything about the Tanabes.

I stopped by one of the local import speed shops and they recommended the Tanabes. I don't know this guy from Adam, so he may have just been trying to sell me what he had?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

Teins higher end products are nice especially with the option of going EDFC later on and have a very large following with alot of top end japanese cars running their suspension.

Their springs (by themselves) on the other hand, aren't necessarily bad but there is only so much that just springs can do for your suspension. When Tein came out with the STechs and HTechs alot of people were excited because they can have a "Tein suspension" for only 100 bucks or less (not to mention local shop markup). Alot of the bad rep Tein springs have recieved I think are due to "tuners" who pick these springs up and aren't satisfied because they expected some kind of suspension miracle because of the name...

Or maybe it's just because 4/5 cars on HT run Tein S Techs and they were dubbed "JDM Rice"

Neither Tein nor Tanabe makes springs that I would recommend, both are junk IMO. Stick to Eibach, H&R, or Comptech.
