D16Y8 head on ZC Block??
dohc zc no and why would you.
sohc zc yes, but only a little more power to the bump in compression.
correct me if im wrong but it would be the same as a dx vtec if you used the y8 head for the dx vtec. Im not sure about the compression height on the pistons. My guess would be the same as the z6

buy an a6 or z6 shorblock and put zc pistons in it run the y8 head with an a6 headgasket.
12.2:1 cr run 91+ oct. gas
or run a z6 head with z6 headgaskit = 12.03:1 Ive had that setup for about 3 years. no problems.
