Can someone please post a picture of how the trunk suspension bar, the one up against the back of the trunk, attaches. I have the bar and am interested in fabing up some mounting points to put it into my gsr. Thanks.

How I installed mine in my GSR.

 

stumpy- looks nice. How 'in there' are those inserts? Seems like they might pop out under heavy load. Would drilling a hole and welding on a nut be a better way?

 

Nut inserts are plenty tight, they're not going anywhere. When they are inserted they mushroom on the back. It's a bitch to get in there by hand, the pop rivet type installation tool won't work for nut inserts this big. Luckily I had access to the pnuematic drill type, literally 10 sec and both of them were in.

Welding would be another option but you'd have to cut a hole in the rear bulkhead after you take off the bumper.
