question on 2000 ITR cd player.
I'm looking into purchasing a itr cd player from an 2000 chassis. I have two ?'s. 1. Do these light up amber
2. do they utilize the 92-95 civic radio harness?
I havn't been able to get a pic from the seller. so if anyone could clarify for me that would be great. thnx for any help.

I concur.
The harnesses I've seen online seem to have different part numbers for the '98+ cars than for the earlier models. I'm not certain what the exact difference is, but it might be worth looking in to.

Well, if the deal doesn't go through, I have a 97-98 ITR radio that I will be removing from my car within the next week. Upgrading to an 06 CRV 6-disc radio that lights up amber.
Shoot me an email to zabiha@gmail.com if you have a Type R cd player for sale, looking to go back to stock. Or anyone else here who has one for sale.

Yes, I figured that out when I pulled out my ITR radio and was manufactured in Feb 2000. It's just those eBay auctions selling the radio harnesses are misinforming me.

Actually, they're not...I had an Integra LS deck before for a breif period and it's a longer plug. I bought an aftermarket plug that hooked right up into the R deck. As far as I know, 98-01 accords have the R plug, 98(possibly 97)-01 deck, as well as the RSX(JDM integra 02-06) uses the same R plug. 92-95 civics use the base integra plugs, and as far as I know, most 96-00 civic do as well, however the EM1 uses the R plug.

Maybe in Canada, but my 2000 ITR radio had the 92-95 Civic longer plug.
