B18C swaped EG
hey all,
i just got done with my B18C swap in my EG it took 6 hrs to have it running down the road again, but anyways im running into a little bind for some reason ill be cruzin at a steady speed and rpm, and at random the RPM guage will jump around like crazy. what could cause this? is something bad in the distributor mabye? and it keeps throwing CEL a little after i let out (after i let it hit vtec) whats up with that? (im using a D15B, vtec unit since my B18C didnt have a spot to hook up a pressure switch on the stock unit. oh and is this normal?......ok im going a from like 2k i floor it and it hits like 4200rpms and it sounds like vtec pops then it takes off a little harder not much then a 5500rpms it kicks hard and goes and around 6k-6200rpms it just takes off nasty... it has a skunk2 intake manifold so it dosent have the intake butterflys anymore. but help me out a little bit, id like to get this fixed before i do some cams. thanks
