Default eibach sportline lowering springs on 99 accord

i plan on getting my 99 accord v6 lowered with the 2.0 sportline drop. but i am uncertain about getting a camber kit? is it really necessary that i get a kit? and if i just get the 2.0 drop will there be any cons? some input would be helpful thanks. i also plan on leaving stock shocks for now. until later when i get more money.

From experience I would save up the extra money to get the shocks, just due to if you pay for installation of the springs in another month of two you're going to have to pay it again to get everything taken off and your new shocks put on. With a 2 inch drop, its not going to ride beautiful on stock shocks, I know friend that had megan racing sleeveovers on stock shocks and it was horrible. But than again thats sleeveovers vs. springs. All in all I would say wait for the shocks, but if you can't than go ahead and get them but don't expect great ride quality.

Con's to being lowered is you have to start watching the road more, Im lowered 2-2.5 with a mugen lip kit and I don't hit you just have to know how to drive a lowered car. It's tricky but you'll get it down, you have to go sideways into everything pretty much.

And for a 2 inch drop i would say you do not need a camber kit but it doesnt hurt to get one, I dont have one and I just get it aligned every once in a while and it doesnt eat tires too bad.

Sorry for the long reply hope it helps a little bit. Good luck though.

Justin.

dude thanks for the info man. helps alot. ive driving my friends cars they are all lowered pretty low. with kits and all. i know how to drive it all sideways and everything lol. its not that fun. but i guess i can get in to a habit and all. so i should just go for the 2.0 drop? and not worry about my back tires butterflying?

you will prolly need the camber kit... my car is lowered about almost three inches. And damn it scrapes everywhere but then again i love it. But imma get the pro kit springs from eibach in a while. for right now the tires kinda butterfly. rear tires dont get worn out that fast but my front tires do. thats why imma get the camber kit because if i dont my car would eat the tires fast and be spending a lot of money. if i were you i would go ahead and get the camber kit. its not that much
