On sunday i was headed to the NJ BBQ and a girl cut into my lane and hit me... fender, rim and bumper, not a major deal. Today im coming home from work and this girl was coming out of a carwash and floored it causing the person in front me to stop (after she gunned it, she completely stopped for no reason) and hitting her. i could not stop, cause i didnt see brake lights form the car in front of me. He didnt depress them i guess cause he didnt have any reaction time. Well my bumper is almost level with the car, the hood is destroyed, headlight on one side is damaged, radiator broke, damaged fender. No frame damage somehow. I broght the car to my guy and there appears to be no fram damage what so ever. But the insurance companies are going to sxrew cause i hit him from behind i fucked up my neck a litltle....... And get this NO Air bags deployed but the kids in front of me did???!!NO i was NOT Speeding, YES i was paying attention. Between him not braking and the ******* water from the carwash in the street it was unavoidable........so Whats the going rate on the JDM Front end??

im soo ******* pissed off right now@!!!!!!!!.........

about 5000 (parts labor installed.) of course were talkin bout brand new JDM oem honda.

Expect to pay at least $3k for a brand new OEM kit, including everything you need.

 

damn sorry to hear that.. your insurance company isnt going to like all this
= (..and arent you the guy that said in one of the "insurance quote" threads that ur paying like $4500? damn.. sorry to hear that = (... hope u get it all sorted out.. last I heard the JDM front ends were like $4-5G's depending on what shop its done at... this is in Cali tho.. not sure about your area and the shops...

 

Be careful on the roadways bud. It's a shame a lot of the time the "other" person gets caught up in an accident because of the negligence of someone else.

 

dude u better be ******* kidding me. i cant drive? did u fail to read EXACTLY what happened?? what do u think i am a 17 year old little punk? im ******* 25 yearl old ADULT. maybe your the one that should stay off the road. my god damn record is SPOTLESS...that 8 years of driving. the speed limit was 30 i was doing 30. As far as the front end question, i was only asking cause the bodyshop asked me if i wanted to do so.... YOu know ive posting on here for 8 months or whatever it is now, and it amazes me what ******* comments people make when people are down. i didnt ask for anyones opinion on my "driving" abilitiy. i was only asking a price. yeah im sure you would be sitting there sayong " oh i hope" the 17 yeard old girl who caused a three car accident is ok? you know what **** her too. if SHE knew HOW TO DRIVE there would less accidents on the road......

 

Settle down ladies!

If the body shop asked you if you wanted to go this route, and they know how to work it out with Insurance...then go for it!!!

Sounds like what I did to my car, only a lot worse.


Since your neck is hurting, I hope you went to the hospital to check it out, and double hopefully that you have medical coverage on your auto insurance policy too...that should take care of any medical bill worries.

Also, hopefully you haven't filed the first accident with insurance. Two accidents in the span of what?...like 1 month? (is that right?-oops...if I could read and retain worth lizard's doo doo I'd remember that you just said 4 days) It could be grounds to drop you off their coverage b/c of high risk concerns. It totally depends on their policies of whatever insurance company you have.

Drive carefully after you get it fixed...I know I will.

ouch..thats what my ITR looked like right b4 I went JDM front.. a car quickly merged into my lane on the freeway and slammed on the brakes...bam. what sucks is that my car was stock height..and the stupid guys rear bumper completely missed my reinforment bar (went over it) and crushed in
then i got a JDM front
insurance gave me about 4000 for parts/labor... and I paid about $800 on top of that to cover the difference for the JDM front. no scamming for me!

Anyhow, good luck on everything dude, hope it all works out. Will they bill this accident as being at-fault? Pray that it won't be.

I was gonna ask you if i can pickup the stuff perhaps this or next weekend but I guess you are a little pissed right now. Maybe during the next few honda meets, june1 at Toms River area or at medford area meet June 8.

 

what ever you do, do not take it to an acura dealership. theyll tell you that the front steel brace will be taken and and it's too dangerous to drive
in TX, it's the law that you can choose any parts and shop you want

my friend rear ended some lady and ended up gettin a fluidyne radiator and JDM front end.... only paid $700 out of his pocket. insurance covered everything else.

 

yeah my car looks worse than that, but still very similar. thats ironic cause my hood is probably the only thing that looks more screwed up compared to tthat pic.
BTW the two clamis in 4 doors............hence the thread title "IM Screwed"......
