I'm pretty tired of waiting to get my car running again. A month ago, some buddies and I swapped in a 98 ITR motor. However, it's got some bent/burnt valves in cylinder 3 so she's down until I can pull the head and get it checked out. In the meantime, I thought I would snap some shots of my new toys for this season.
You all know how she looked last season (stock GSR motor, 227whp @ 6.5 lbs, and roughly 280-290whp @ 10 lbs., street tuned by the man himself, Jordan@Consummate Tuning):

This year, I sold my 16" set of Rota Grids and pair of 15" Grids with BFG drag radials for a set of these (polished of course...just the way us bruthaz like it
):
I'll post pics of them on the car when I get around to it. The car and wheels are absolutely filthy, as she hasn't moved in over a month.
I have some decent plans for this season. Around 330whp on 10 lbs. of boost, and a 5k rpm powerband (yea that's what I wrote). Next year when I do a simple Wiseco/Eagle build, we'll be shooting for 375-385whp @ 16-17 lbs. of boost on pump gas. When deciding on a turbo, I chose to talk to the guys at Speed Trapp Consulting in Michigan. After a rather lengthy discussion, they decided that a Garrett GT3255E would be optimal for my stock (to be built) ITR motor, since it's a 95% street-car setup. Also, I chose to go with the full ceramic-coating option to keep the heat down and stunt like ma daddy. It makes full boost at roughly 3500rpm, and holds full boost/power to the 8500rpm redline.. Discount Tire's gonna love my broke *** this summer.

My m4d tYtE mild steel flux-cored intercooler piping is hot and all, but keeping in line with my broke 3ss baller theme I upgraded to fully polished aluminum intercooler piping from Spoolin' Performance in San Jose. It was ridiculously cheap considering the quality of the piping setup.

And I switched from a Greddy Type-S blowoff valve to a (you guessed it) polished HKS SSQV.
I loved my $5 manual boost controller, but what stunnA doesn't roll with a gear-dependent boost controller these days?

Finally, I almost forgot that my turbo needs something to hold it up. This little topmount should do just fine IMO.

StunnAz need m4d vizion as they run the streets, so I picked up a 8000k H4 HID kit on the cheap as well ($140 shipped brand new, in stock all the time with a 1-year warranty!).

I'm reusing the good ol' 35mm Tial, because it works and it's polished.
One last picture of the majority of my bank account:

AEBS headstuds should be here on Wednesday. And I'm spent. Literally... *checks wallet and cries*
See ya at the track!
EDIT: Updated pics:
"Honey, can you pass me the salt and the GT3255E? Thanks!"

Getting there, now I just need to get it in the car for the DP and oil return setup

Thanks for the positive comments guys
This isn't my first turbo setup, however. I'm currently on my 4th turbo setup in a year (SOHC greddy kit, SOHC SC50 setup, GSR SC50 setup, now GT3255E ITR setup)
Hopefully I keep this setup for more than a year.

Nice parts.
I installed that same HID kit on my chick's ride .... only in a more realistic 4300K. It looks good and it's hella bright.
