Default gas in oil

my 94 gsr has gas in the oil. baught it less than a year ago and it always had a gas smell checked for leaks. none it went away and i forgot about it. it never dawned on me when changing the oil that it had a gas odor but now it is more noticeable. could it be the seats r bad thus allowing gas to pass when in v-tech or high rpm. also smokes when in v-tech or high rpm. i don't know help i was told that if the valve seats corroded they would allow gas to pass at high rpm don't know if this is true almost 200k on the motor stock cept cold air & type R supension ran a 15.2 w/o susp.

check compression, if you have a bad ring(s) on a piston it will allow gas to leak into the oil, , but you would also be burnign oil and car prob wouldn't run the best, other cause could be engine running rich, getting to much gas somehow. my suggestion is to check compression make sure you have close to equal comp in all cylinders
