I cant find ANY rear bumper supports anywhere, is there a rear reinforcement that will work on my 88 crx si thats not from a crx? anything at all, and any help at all

check ebay ..i have seen a company on ebay that sells frot bumpers and front supports...they might have rears also..type in crx bumper and you shuld find them.. what state are you in

 

I am pretty certain that Civic hatch rear supports will bolt right up to your CRX. I haven't done it myself, but I have put a CRX rear bumper on my civic and it worked just fine. So I say give it a try. Or if you've got a friend with a Hatch then ask them to barrow their bumper and see if the support will bolt on. It's not hard to do and you should be able to do it in way less than a hour. If you were in Southern Oregon i'd let you barrow my car for an hour.

I dont see why it wouldnt. I mean theres just 4 bolts. Idk.

did you try the honda dealer? they are not really that expensive. and for a safety item do you want another rusted 15 year old one

 

thanks its good to see people on here who actually want to help like u and harmonator who was a great help but I live in ohio and I cant find jack **** in junkyards, the two crx's I found were ricers anyways, before they cleaned the rust they put on a combat kit and spray painted the car primer black. ugly, im actually one of the only ef's in this area thats not too rusted, just a little bit on the rear of the car on the quarters and below the bumper clips under the cover. sorry but im 16 and I'm broke almost, looking for something not rusted, honda dealership is 230 bucks and I still got a wheel bearing to replace.

My hatch is not a DD so I opted for weight reduction and just left it off. oops!
