rocker arm hex bolt HELP
I searched but couldnt find anything. if anyone knows the torque specs for the rocker arm sealing bolts (the three hex bolt for the rocker arm on the sides of the head) and wouldnt mind posting, itll be greatly appreciated. thank you.
Uh oh, I think 47 ft/lbs is the spec for the head bolts. It is on my 1990 civic d15b2 anyway. The camshaft bolts are 16 ft/lbs, according to this heah link:

Your must be misunderstanding for the cam cap bolts.

He isnt reffering to the cam-cap bolts. Hes referring to the three hex head bolts that seal in the rocker arm passages. The TQ spec i posted was/is correct.

Well, 16 pounds or 47, when I got this head they evidently weren't torqued at ALL so anything was an improvement. And it fixed the problem- that was definitely where the oil was getting into the sparkplug holes, and it quieted down a lot too.
After I tightened the cam bolts (to about 25 pounds-? I split the difference, kind of, and hope that works), all sixteen or so of em, I checked valve lash and some of them where waaay tight so I adjusted them all and the engine runs pretty smooth and quiet.
Thanks, everyone.
