ok so im working on this sandwich plate but with the oil cooler and the plate i cant fit the filter. is there a smaller filter i can use so it will fit?

What filter do you have?

 

the standard sized fram for the h23

 

If you get a Honda factory filter from Honda it should fit, they are alot smaller.

ok for future search reference the honda insite filter works perfect. the filter for the lude from honda was still to deep.

 

I'm having that same problem, i'm assuming you got it at honda, did they charge you up the *** for it? lol

they were like 8 bucks. unfortunetly those filters are being discontinued so i bought the last 5 they had here. but they fit right in.

 

can you measuer how long one is and let me know, because up here they might already be gone so i would need to find the same length. Also what kind of sandwich plate do you have? Mines a Maxxspeed motorsports and it's on my H22, yours an H23?

 

the ones i got were 2 1/2" the stock ones are 3 1/4", the part number is 15400-pfb-014. i have the golden eagle.

 

Did you have a problem with the cicumphrance of the filter being smaller then the plate? I just noticed the insite filter is smaller then my fram one in width not only length.

 

no it fit great. put the two o-ring to o-ring and they will line up perfectly. the prelude one from honda is the same circumference as the insites
