what oil should i get when i change my oil next ima just go to a normal oil change place so oil that they would have what oil do you use for your rsx

Isn't it true that if you use synthetic once you shouldn't go back cause it's not good to do so? or is it a myth?

 

My auto teacher told us to use the same brand of oil through out our car's life. So I guess going back to regular oil wouldn't be suggested. I also heard that you shouldn't go synthetic until the car is over 10,000 miles.

I also heard that you shouldn't go synthetic until the car is over 10,000 miles.</TD></TR></TABLE> well..sorry to say it.but your auto teacher is wrong.. you don't have to use the same BRAND motor oil through out the cars life.. my auto teacher (toyota program teacher) says that if you use synthetic, then you should use synthetic and not switch back..for example. you use 5w30 Synthetic. then you gotta keep using 5w30 synthetic. doesn't matter what brand the oil is. as long as its the same viscosity, and its synthetic (if your using synthetic) and heres another example..its basicly the same. im currently using Amsoil 5w30 Synthetic..i can later on us Mobil 1 as long as its 5w30 synthetic

i prefer mobil1 in most my cars 5w30 all synthetic
