according to the service manual .008" is the max. based on a height of 5.79" theres no need to be offensive for an easily answered question...be patient with new ht users...

I've milled 0.035" off of my head and probably 0.003" to 0.005" off the block. Squish is about as tight as it can get. There is plenty of piston to valve clearance to allow for some cam timing adjustment with cam gears. This is with stock internals. However, if you're going to cut things that close, you need to clay the engine first before you do any milling.

that number is directly from the honda prelude service manual that number is based on warpage and not on compressional increasement the .008" means its the max you can skim off before your timing becomes a little retarded...how was your timing after that .035" skim??
