Need input on a price for my car
Clean car and all, but .... Not my favorite 5th gen. I would not give more than $ 15,000 for it. Call me a LowBaller, but i would rather find me a nice OEm 5th gen for about $ 8,000 and make my own list of Mods for it. Good luck with the sale.
also there was a 4th gen turbo lude for sell not to long ago with full body work and everything pushing 480whp and he couldnt find a buyer for around 10k... car ran fine and was a show car.... sooo good luck

all that build up to look at a dirty car.
wash THEN take pictures.
I wouldnt buy it.....do what Im doing...go to stock. Aftermarket parts DO NOT ADD VALUE to a car...less you find that one buyer who wants everything you put on the car, you probably will have to take a MAJOR loss or part out. I doubt you will sell for what you want, or anywhere close.
dont like my answer, go back to your reality. Till then welcome to earth

Thanks madcatz... thats the point I was trying to say.... I wasnt meaning that 10k for the 5th gen isnt gonna sell it, just saying the 4th gen wouldnt sell for what the guy was asking because most people wont pay out the *** for a built car alrdy.... Just saying you will take a hit on the price.... i wouldnt offer more than 16k cause I personally dont like 5th gens... but i alrdy said, its a nice car so dont be getting all pissed
even 16k is way high if u ask me. Preludes have taken quite a hit on value lately. I see below 100k stock bases going for about 7k around me. My honest feeling is about 12k. You may not like that number, but your looking at a very limited audience for a 450hp prelude. However much it goes for, GL with the sale.

i have a 2001 not a 97. i have 45k miles not 93k miles. so i dont understand your logic

The 4th gen the guy was selling was much nicer that ur 5th gen, with 30k miles on a fully built h22,and a 8000 paint job.So comparing ur ride to his is funny to me.Just because ur car is an 01 dosent mean its nicer than a 96
.....but being soo intellegent u already knew that right.

You may be right, but I paid $7 grand for a stock car which is what more people want over a heavily modded car and I wasn't being a hater. Don't really think anybody was, you're just hearing what you don't wanna hear.
I would sell your car for about 18K. Just gotta find the right buyer. Ur gunna get lowballed like crazy, do not give your car away. Sell it for what you know its worth. Put the list of your mods together and what they cost you + the KBB value of your car. Then make a better judgment on a price. 18k sounds fair to me... but it may have cost you a hole lot more for your setup than I am guessing. your car stock with 40k original miles could sell for like 12k+ and your setup (including all mods) looked like it cost you 6k+. So I dunno? Just dont give it away to some noobzor

There in lies the problem, modding a car LOWERS its value, so that 12k car is actually harder to sell at 12k now that it has mods, no one wants a car that has that much work done to it. 1) no originality for the new buying 2) who knows how bad it was beat, no matter how many miles 3) much more prone to breakage. Not hating at all, i love a turbo prelude just as much as the next guy, i'm just trying to help you get back down to reality.
