Are they making them for our cars? Give me a little insight into why you suggest them if you don't mind.

Cobalt Friction has Axxis Ultimates at a pretty good price for H-T members.

Check out Russel for stainless steel brake lines. I know AJperformance.com and summitracing carry them.

pads and fluid... if you're going with rotors, go with blanks. slotted/cross drilled are junk.

I am not a huge fan of Hawk Products, if they are available I would look for something from Carbotech, Pagid, Ferodo, or Performance Friction. I would also echo the comments about getting fluid and blanks (stainless lines are mostly a feel mod).

I prefer:

Rotor Blanks: Brembo

Fluid: Motul RBF 600 or ATE Super Blue

Pads: Carbotech, Pagid, Ferodo, Performance Friction

Did 120+ miles on Road Atlanta this weekend. Need more stopping power to carry more speed into turns.

I've used powerslot before and they have cryo-treated rotors too. I know some porsche guys that swear by EBC.

I would go with DBA out of that list, Powerslot uses bargain basement blanks to make their rotors, Mugen is way overpriced for what is probably a rebadged OEM part, and EBC scares me simply because they make the abomination that is the Green brake pad.

Jon

PS: Are your rotors toast yet? Because honestly, as long as they aren't cracked or warped I would look at just replacing pads until Brembo comes out with a rotor blank.

For street cars with the type of pads available to us slotted rotors are mostly a bling mod too. They wear the pads faster, reduce the thermal mass of the rotor, and weaken the rotor a tiny bit. I wouldn't recommend slotted rotors to anyone who uses their car as a daily driver. Also, to the OP: Don't buy HPS Street pads if you are going to track the car, they will cook almost as quick as the stockers, at least get the HP+ if you want to stick with Hawk.

Well the front rotors really took a beating over the weekend. So I was thinking of getting some new rotors for the front because they are the ones asked to do most of the stopping and then wait for the good ones to come out.
