i have a 97 LS in repair. i bought a door off a 94 RS thinking that the door harness from that door would plug into that harness from my car.... is there a way to convert it so my car harness with plug into that door or do i need to get a different door?

I would assume you would have to do some wire splicing action. I don't know maybe it is just a plug, but the RS doesn't have the power lock thing like the ls does.

 

really? i thought all integra's had power locks? well i heard some model has manual windows but i have NEVER seen one.. thanks for the input though

See? If you'll notice the lack of chrome switch on the bezels... But they do have power windows.

 

well i still have my LS door panel going on it.. so does that mean my **** wont work unless i swap EVERYTHING over from the inside of the door??

 

i'm not 100% sure but i do beleive you'll have to swap out atleast the wiring, the 94 door is on a obd1 system while your car is obd2, swappign all the parts out would be alot easier the all the saudering of splicing wires

 

ok thanks. i hate doors.. they are so compact and complicated.. i think im gonna cut the inside away and swap it all and then weld it back together

 

i have an rs and they don't have power locks i had to put my own in... if you take the harness out of your old door(ls door) the plug should be the same size as the rs plug so it should fit just the same as the rs plug/wiring did in the new door(rs door). hope that helps, they are sometimes a pain in those tight spots but its not 2 bad once you figure it out

yes you will have to swap the wirinng harness in order to get the electric door locks, otherwise you will only have windows and speakres and mirors hooked up... and i wouldnt cut it up they arent too bad to get out just take your time... goodluck
