Default Milling the H22a head

Can anyone give specification on milling the H22a head,I would like to use the mahle 11.5:1 compression pistons and skunk2 stage 2 cams, but i would like to know the safe rage to mill the head ,I would want the skunk2 stage2 cams to push the valves too far to hit the pistons. Can any please help me with this.

I would assemble your motor as is, clay it to check your clearances then see where you stand. It has been done before, and some have overdone and had some hot, valve on piston love making sessions. I would be even more concerned if you were trying to run oversized valves. Flat valves might be a safer way you could bump compression a bit..

Do you think milling 10-15 thou should be safe with skunk2 stage 2 cams and 11.5:1 pistons.

My head is milled about 0.55mm
That should not be a problem with mahle 11.5:1 pistons? and a stock valvetrain?

Clay it first to find all the clearances before you mill. That's the only way you're going to know, regardless of what everyone tells you on here.

dont know, but if you do mill it that much and then find out later that your clearances are screwed, then your screwed. Seriously clay your motor before thinking about taking material away.. measure 10 times so you dont expletive yourself.

i need something cleared out..

I have my head milled about 0.021" (0.55mm)
And i'm going to run type-s pistons or the mahle 11.5:1 pistons.
But that's not the problem, i read something about the timing here.
Where do i change it? on the camgears? so i need adjustable cam gears?
i heard it was about 1 degree every 0.010" milling. \

is that correct?

I wouldn't worry about, especially on a street motor.

take it to a shop, mill it if it needs to be straightend, but .010-.015 shouldnt hurt. But I would only mill if it needed to be straightened.
