will a d16y8 manifold work for an MPFI swap?
I have the SWAP done but fucked up my fuel rail. I can't find a fuel rail for the d16a6 manifold but I do have a y8 manifold. I wasnt sure if the whole manifold would bolt up to the d15b2 or not.
Yes, but some minor modifications will be needed of course.
- If post 97, you will need to fill in the Air Holes at the mating surface or you will have a vacuum leak to end all leaks.
- The A6 throttle body will not bolt on, so you will need to use either the Y8 throttle body or source another throttle body from any 92-00 D/B/H Series motor.

Im wanting to swap the entire manifolds.. i wont be changing parts on the manifolds. I have a complete y8 that I want to bolt on in place of the a6.

Ok, but you'll still want to switch over your fuel injectors, make sure the air injection holes are not present or filled in, and provide a mounting location for you IAT as the D16Y8 doesn't have the IAT on the manifold but in the intake tract.
