are there any other hub/spindles that will work other than the si's? 1gen tegs, later gen civics?

 

i'm pretty sure...any 88-91 (non crx hf or non 4spd civic) knuckles will work...it doesn't have to be an si model...not sure about tegs or other gen civics/crxs

i ran into an si at a junkyard where i got my front knuckles (i also own an hf)

I got a set of 90 civic knuckles I will eell you if you want them

 

jaje: yeah i know dx and si hub/spindles will fit. just wondering of any other civic or teg ones will fit..

main reason because i dont think there are any dx or si's in any yards around here.

with fitment issues i always call the honda dealer...i found out the hf and si of each year use the same distributor...but the 90-91 are different than the 88-89...i'm gonna try to use my 88 hf's distributor on my 90 si engine (i only found that out when i called my local dealer)...maybe try calling yours about the knuckles and let us know

 

did a little research. from hasport they show you what all axles you need for what int. shaft you have. and they never say anything about the hub/spindle or anything being different on the 89-91 civic/crx sir, 90-93 teg, and 94+ teg gsr (also in JDM 92 up SiRs, 99-00 Si and Type R) . so some common sence in here. that all the axles will fit fine in any of those hub/spindle setups. but thanks for the info guys.

trust me, theyre different. im working on mine right now, theyre helluva different, or im just screwed. If you need them, get back with me ASAP. I leave for BMT on June 3rd

 

the 90-91 EX 4-door Civic knuckles also work and come with 10.3" brake rotors if you want to upgrade

 

only reason i was looking at getting teg or other gen civic ones is because i didn't think i was gona beable to find an si. but we ran across one yesterday. so i just got them off the si.
