Remove SI badge on grill?
Please don't flame this noob. I tried searching several forums with no luck on this one.
Picked up an '07 SI sedan on Saturday and love the car.
Was able to remove the SI and Civic badges on the back as well as the stickers and dealer installed pinstriping on the sides in about 10 minutes with a blow dryer. No residue or problems at all.
But I'm not sure how to get off the SI badge on the grill. Is it even possible?
No, I'm not ashamed to drive a Civic. I just like the clean look. I'm planning on replacing the Honda badges on the back and grill with red JDM badges.
Thanks for any help.

if you remove the front Si badge there is a post behind it where it screws into.
you can remove THAT but you will have markes on the plastic from where u dremel it etc.

Thanks, that's what I thought actually. I am **** enough to do that actually.
What about a replacement grill without post? Are they available? When something gets under my skin I can't let it go. And that SI badge on the grill bugs me.
Thanks again for the confirmation on this one.

Buy another lower portion of the grill
bring it to a body shop have them paint it the color of the car and remove the si badge.

Are there holes left in the trunk when you removed the Civic badge? I know on my Accords there were tabs on the backs of the badges, so I strayed from removing them...

Yeah there is 2 holes in the trunk for the H badge. I had my SI keyed off of the trunk so I removed the civic as well. Speaking of the red JDM badges does anyone know if they make black H badges or am I just better off painting a replacement set and swapping? I have a TW coupe and am thinking of all black and white.

Lol, yeah only my panda eats gas when it gets hungry for vtec...lol I know a lot of people just remove the entire grill and do a custom job, but get someone to photoshop some stuff, first, for you if you go that route. I'd like to see some pics if you keep the stock grill and just remove the SI or if you replace it all. Goodluck
