Which one would you choose as a daily driver?
I have a 06 Mitsubishi Evo IX and I'm thinking about getting a daily driver, super on gas, safety features and easy to drive, use to go to work and back to home mainly, so I don't accumulate massive mileage on the Evo.
My choices are:
07 Honda Civic - starting at $15010 MSRP
05 Honda Civic
06 Scion xB - $14610
07 Toyota Corolla - $14305
05 Toyota Corolla
07 Nissan Versa SL - $14550
I was also considering the 07 MINI Cooper but when I found out it uses premium fuel that was a big turn off.
I think I might go with the Honda Civic the 07 model coz it comes with everything standard (ABS,front/side airbags), no sure which trim the DX or LX , differences are no AC, no power locks, no sure how important the AC will be coz I will be moving to Utah pretty soon which is known for their snowy winters.
I also quoted all those vehicles and the least expensive to insure is the Civic.
Please comment and help me decidie.
Thank you so much.

xB my friend has one and its great on gas it makes my si look like it gets 10mpg while his gets 100mpg and wite the right rims it looks good too! i have a cruiser its an 02 civic 4door its good to have a daily driver for work and stuff and the beast at home waiting to be unleashed for the weekend wen u like show off!
Get the Civic from the choices above. But if you're moving to Utah and you ski, you might want to get something AWD (unless you're going to drive the Evo during the winter).
Also, A/C is a must here. It gets up to 100 degrees during the summers.

probably the 05 to save you some money for almost the same features.
how about the 05 ep3?</TD></TR></TABLE>
05 ep3 would be a great choice also..
power.. regular grade gas recommended... roomy... and cheap
I'll second Paul on that one...you don't NEED A/C (got a couple of buddies that do without) but you're gonna miss it. You see it all here..snow and heat.
Personally, Mazda3. I know it wasn't an option, but you can get one new insanely cheap (13-15k) with more than enough crap in it. I test drove one yesterday and I thought it was an extremely fun car for only 155 hp. I've honestly been contemplating trading in my civic for one instead of the used SI I'm stillll looking at.

I'd like to take this opportunity and thank you all for the recommendations.
I wasn't aware of the Honda Fit, apparently it was first released in the US back in april, 2006, but this model is being sold like pancakes in Japan.
Anyways, I love that it has ABS with EBD, front airbags, side-curtain airbags, power door locks, power windows, AC, great mileage even better than the Honda Civic and very closed to the Corolla. As far as standard features this car has it all and that's what I'm looking for.
I will pay a visit tomorrow to the dealership and see how much I like it in person.
I still can't believe how spacious this car interior is, am looking at the comparison between the civic and fit, and fit has presented itself very nicely. This car was also selected as the best small car by Car and Driver check it out > http://www.caranddriver.com/co....html
In addition to all that, the Fit is cheaper to insure than the Corolla and just $11 dollar more than the Civic.
Apparently the only downside of the Fit is the big depreciation.

yeah the fit is pretty badass. I especially like how you can recline the seat ALL THE WAY down and how much cargo room opens up when you fold down the rear seats. Excellent choice!
hye elohel the m3 is a good choice, I used to own one but unfortunately i trade it in for my evo... i was gonna keep it but the dealership convinced my *** for the trade off. I really loved the m3 and i had for over a year and never had any problems or ticket due to it, but ever since i got the evo in my 2nd week i got a speeding ticket going late to work and that is my only ticket in 3 years, thanksfully i took driver course and they dismissed it out of record.
