Dunlop D207 tires
Anyone have any opinions. In the market for new tires, I have heard both bad and good about this tire. The people I ride with swear by the Michellin. Any comments?
I don't like 'em. I have yet to try the Michelin Pilot Sports, but my bike feels much better with a set of Avon Azaro II's mounted. Just my opinion, I know lots of people that like 'em too.
Well for the money, I would go with the bridgestone bt10's. They provide better grip and at a smaller hit on the wallet. Or you could go pilots if money isnt a big deal. For the money the pilots are the shiznit, but i go through tires pretty quick so i use the bt10's. I used the d207r's for several years. Fronts take forever to heat up and the backs wear pretty quickly. They are an ok tire. I have had my bt10's for about a month now and I like em better.

The HPX tires are specially designed for faster, heavier bikes such as the ZX12R or Hayabusa...the speed rating is in excess of 200mph I believe. The non-HPX models are the standard Z-rated sportbike tires.

Pilot Sports. are the best .(ride the softest with hybrid tread pattern) the only dis-advantage is they need time to warm. But clearly all the dudes I ride with will agree. Top dogs rely on Michies. D207 are good if you like to beat and replace and I even think they make a 208s but still. Your life depends on ur rubber. Dont be cheap with your life. BREAK FOR THE ICE-WATER.
Bridgestone BATTLAX BT-010 are decent too. My second choice..
