problem with d15b2 motor
i recently purchased a 91 dx hatchback that is bone stock. when i bought it the sparkplug in the 2nd cylinder was crossthreaded and i had to remove the head and i ended up just replacing the head because a friend had one lying around. but anyways it stumbles at idle real bad so that i have to keep it running pretty hard to keep the engine running. it also smokes like a bitch all the time. i think the rings might be bad? the headgasket is brand new and it sealed wonderfully i think ( no water in the oil so i suppose it did?) is there anything i can do to get rid of the smoking i just want the car to put miles on it right now my daily driver is a 94 eg hatch with a b16a and i don't want to put 120+ miles per day on it you know???
eventually, probably the end of the summer i will have a zc motor in the ef but i want to drive it a bit until then
thanks yall

i tried seafoam it didn't help and then i put in some "stop smoke" and some "engine restore" so maybe that will recondition the seals if they aren't missing chunks. thanks
