Default Cant decided between top mount or Ramhorn. what would be best?

Ive been debating this for a good 2 months now.
Motor is assembled turbo is on order now i need a manifold setup
Motor setup
81.5 GSR stock sleeves
9:1 Arias Pistons
Eagle 3/8" rods
JDM ITR Head
Omni valvetrain
Omni Valves
ITR cams
JG intake Manifold
Golden Eagle Fuel rail
Precision 1000cc Injectors
RS 70mm TB
Hondata S300 w/ boost
Precision SC6152S .63 AR ported shroud
Apexi GTR Intercooler
Aiming for 500 whp on E85 superdave tune

I want the best flow for the turbo so would i benefit more from a ramhorn or topmount. ive been searching so please dont tell me to search because ive been constantly reading about the differences

if your using E85 your gonna hit 500whp on your set-up easy with both manifolds its just your perf now any higher than 650 and i say go top-mount

In the Full Race thread top mount vs. bottom mount comparison; the top mount gained *peak* 50wtq just by swapping out mani's and leaving everything else in the setup the same.

So what you need to ask yourself is....is performance gains worth PS removal? Hope you workout kid! LOL

No power steering really isnt that bad either... I'd take the 50hp gain instead of power steering... thats just me though!

Yeh, but they did a test using there own products. Obviously, not all topmounts are designed the same.. Also what motor/turbo setup was used in the FR test vs. this guys?

Not saying he wont/will see gains, but I wouldn't want to give him false hope either..

I never saw that comparison, anyone got a link to it? Just wondering since the log vs ramhorn wasnt exactly done with fair results.

Also does anyone make a topmount with PS compatible? Maybe even AC and PS? Ramhorns are SUCH a pain in the *** to put on and take off.

think it's the opposite...whichever way it is, the blue/green lines are clearly better till 8500

You're right! It does state which line is which. And along with the fact that someone stated that the topmount apparently gained like 50 hp in peak power, it was only logical that the topmount would be the dotted line based on that information.

But maybe it was a different graph I was looking at.

Topmount, but swap in a manual rack instead of just disconnecting the PS pump and ****.

you can just reloop the lines...no need to swap a slower ratio rack

You don't need to reloop lines just remove them completely relooping lines makes it harder to steer the car. Try this drive the car with relooped lines and drive the car without the lines on the car at all its much better and doesn't damage the rack like you think it would.
