h22a swap into 93 accord
im getting ready to swap a h22a in my 93 accord lx, i have the wiring harness and ecu, i know this is a obd2 does anyone have a good site to get ecu jumpers? also if anyone has dont this swap can you tell me what was a pain in the *** and what to look out for?
not trying to be an ***....but why are you goin with a OBD2 h22a instead of a OBD1 h22a....little confused but with a obd1 h22a it would be alot easier to install but if its what you got to work with SBR (slowboyracing.com) might have them....goodluck
also being a 93' lx your car is a OBD1...FYI

yes i know all about obd1 and 2 i could only get my hands on a obd2. i was planning on buying a ecu jumper to take car of that problem, will my accord ecu work on the h22a?
ur engine swap would be wasted if u were to use ur stock Accord ECU...
1) u won't have Vtec
2) the fuel map will be off.
3) the rpm redline would be much lower at 6500rpm rather than at the prelude's 7500rpm
4) and I don't think the accord ECU can accommodate a knock sensor...
u should be able to find an ODBII Prelude ECU in any used parts store...have fun

I did the swap into my 94 accord and it wasn't to bad, I believe 90-93 the H22 bolts right in, not really %100 sure. Definately use the lude ecu, and I would look on ebay for the conversion harness. Goodluck with the swap.
