Default Polishing aluminum

was cleaning my engine bay this weekend with some degreaser, and when i was done washing it my strut bar was all white and oxidized.

any suggestions of how to get that crap off?

already searched nothing was really helpfull

oxidized like clearcoat is coming off??

Did you try some actual polish like mothers??

well i dont think the spoon bar uses clear coat not sure but i used mothers aluminum polish with a buffer and some of the white specs are still there

Wetsand with 2000 grit then use mothers polish again?
