Post your lifts!
So my parents are building a large garage,
I think 24x40 and dad wants to have an Automotive lift in the garage.
Sweet! So;
Lets see your lift in your garage.

Here's ours at work. When I finally build a larger garage, I'm definitely gonna have a 2 post at home. Try calling local dealerships around you. Sometimes the company they use to install the lifts have used ones for sale.

My father owns his own general contracting business. About 10 years ago, they were tearing down a old gas station/service station. That lift was the only one out of 4 that still worked. He took it out, rolled it into the back of his truck, and cemented it into the floor of our garage now as we were building it.
Bad:
-If your car is lowered, you have to build running boards to drive onto to clear the lift
-exhaust work is a bitch, but if you have the forks up, it gives you enough clearance
-our air compressor **** out on us so we got this little dinky one running it (takes 20 minutes to even fill the bitch up with air.
But hey, **** works

hmm, i thought that was absorbent for spills, maybe not. I wish a lift would even fit in my garage. My car would end up in the master bedroom

Within the next couple of years I will be "blowing up" my garage and adding a 2nd floor and a 4-poster on 1-side. Until then my uncle lets me use his. Thankgully his shop is only a mile down the road or so.
