Default 92 Accord CEL?

Hi,

I got a cell on my 92 Accord while on the highway. It went out and didn't come back on after I stopped and re-started the car.

Any ideas what it could be?

Would a timing belt problem cause this? I have 288 kmiles.
If the timing belt breaks while driving will the car just stop or will engine damage result?

Thanks,
Scott

Our engines arent interference motors, so if the belt snaps, its unlikly to be head damage, however it is still possible. If the belt snaps, then car wont start, no matter what.

90% of the timing belts I've seen snap have caused catastrophic failure, bending valves.

if your timing belt snaps chances are you're changing the head.

If it stored a code, it will flash it for you, until you clear it.

Is that located on the passenger side, below the glove box?
