Default can't fit usdm downpipe/header onto my h22a jdm - help!

my usdm motor blown and i just swapped a h22a jdm onto my 93 prelude vtec. the only problem is the usdm downpipe is hitting against the oil pan from not letting header fit perfectly onto the head. please help. i need this fix asap. or no ride to work. thanks

ohh and the motor year is 97. is this why? because my i'm using my stock header/downpipe from 93 h22a1.

btw do i need to find a particular jdm header so it'll fit onto the h22a jdm?

97 stock downpipe would fit with jdm top header? i thought all h22 engine are the same, shouldnt i have any problem installing the stock usdm downpipe? or tell me.. is it the oil pan of the jdm is bigger?

the oil pan should not be different.

try the US upper and lower The one that was in your car before the engine swap.

I don't understand why this is so hard.

i did try the usdm upper and lower header together but the lower pipe is hitting underneath the oil pan and that is causing the header not to line up the head bolts. i think 97-01 h22 uses different header from 92-96. damn i knew i should've stick with 92-96 h22a and not 97.

btw JDM and USDM Top pieces are the same. so the downpipes are interchangeable. anyone has the downpipes jdm they wanna sell?

you know you dont need to bolt that bracket up to the back of the oil pan right..... most of the time it will just snap off in the long run anyway.....

if you let it hang there, the flex pipe should give you tones of clearence........ unless you got that sweed 6'' oil pan extender......

my usdm manifold does fit except for the downpipe. i guess maybe getting a 5th gen header will fit but will need to do extra welding due to pipe shortage. my oil pan is stock, no extender or aftermartket. thanks and let me know if i need anything else.
