Default Summer tires in the cold.....=(

I came up to Northern Wisconsin to see my friend over the weekend and now have to drive back 300 miles in my R and its like 30 degrees outside. I took the r b/c over the week it was more mild temp. Do you guys think it will be unsafe to drive in the cold with my summer tires? I have BFG KWD g-force. also, I hear it supose to rain and I have a CAI that is exposed, will this be unsafe??......Gosh I need to get back to work on time....... Do you guys think this will be safe?? Opinions plz

The tires and intake should be fine. As long as it doesnt snow or your filter becomes submerged a lil cold and rain wont hurt it.

Just take it easy and you should be fine with the tires. They won't grip the road as well as in the warmer weather, but they won't unravel either

As for the CAI, how exposed are we talking? Constant spray hitting the filter? You can try to take the CAI arm off and put the filter right on the throttle body. Better safe than sorry.

KDW's should be fine. Just don't drive like a douche bag.

I've been in the snow with my 215's, but I was going like 25.

Azenis and the snow = wiNNaR

...... due to my devotion towards TeamlZy i was caught in some snow with the 615s, and dumped on coilovers at that. They really aren't good tires to go snowmobeelin in, but they will get you from A to B if necessary

41 degrees F is not that cold, and no problem for summer tires.
