whats the normal price on installing a kit without painting?
considering the kit fits on good....
i emailed a shop around here and got the reply today
To better help you I ask that you stop by with the car
and the kit. That way my body man can take a look at
it and give you a better estimate. I can give you a
rough estimate if the kit fits very well. It should be
around 32 hours to mold the kit. Our shop labour rate
is $55 per hour. So you are looking at around $2024
tax in.
thats in CDN so $1500US someone tell me this is insane without paint 32 hours to install 4 pieces??!!?

holy crap takes about 6 hours tops to do it with a spoiler and with a friend.
I think what they ment was they were going to mold it using bondo to make all the lines where bumper attaches dissaper.

Never mold a body kit in! There is no way to prevent it from cracking! I've done my share of body kits and an average kit installation takes me about 2-3 hours. Price at my shop for painting and installing a body kit is usually $500.00 US

WW RS kit!? HA! if a shop tries to charge more than $100 for just the install, no paint...man that's a ripoff. i installed mine in an hour with the help of just my bro. easy as cake!! install it yourself...i think it's about the easiest thing i've ever done to one of my cars.

I would paint it your self buy a compressor for 150 and the paint for 50 and the paint gun for 50 and the hose for compressor for 20 bucks. Now you have a painted kit and a compressor for air tools

I would paint it your self buy a compressor for 150 and the paint for 50 and the paint gun for 50 and the hose for compressor for 20 bucks. Now you have a painted kit and a compressor for air tools

if you get a paint gun for 50 bucks never spray paint with it again it'll prob. be nasty use for primer plus at my body shop we charge 35 an hour and molding will crack dont do it.
